Mary, You can include it in the index page created by Legacy either at the top of the page or the end, using the Links tab in Create Web pages. This would put it on *every* page, so probably only the end one would be of use. Or near the top of the index page by including it in the box in

In Legacy6 many of us attached non-picture documents, (PDF, DOC, MHT, etc.) to source citations. If such a file were renamed or deleted Legacy's Missing.txt would report the missing filename but not who it was attached to. Now in L7 we attach as File and if it goes missing Legacy's Missing.txt

Yup, that's still true in V7, Dennis. I guess that since the links in the web pages do not affect the creation of reports it was thought OK to transfer them as is. Having said that, as we both know Legacy doesn't always ignore what is between the double chevrons in the reports! Ron

No, they are all the same place. The location in German has the umlaut. I just haven't updated other notations of it in other places in my database. What really bothers me is that the encoding selection doesn't appear to be a permanent setting that I can make in IE 8. I have Auto-select on but

I have a very strange problem. Somehow, my research and medical notes on a particular individual disappeared. I know they were there about 2 hours ago when I ran an individual report for this person b/c her cause of death from the medical notes showed up on that report. I did backup my file

I missed the obvious. Why do you have to go to Mozy for this? Do you not use the backup feature in Legacy? It makes dated backups, named by date. Are those on your computer somewhere or do you make them and then immediately delete them? If you can find one dated the day before yesterday

OK, I just figured it out. Mozy does let you choose a different file location. I just created a new folder called Restored Files within the Legacy Data folder. I left the file name the same since it was in a different folder. Problem solved. Copied and pasted the notes with no problem. Thanks,
