Phil, I was a bit distressed after 8 days with no install file also. Are you using Vista SP1? I guess you have tried updating Legacy. Did you get error; 'file apdproxy.exe cannot open because ConnAPI.DLL not found' which I was getting at the time. I have no idea what they are but they seem to

I had a lot of trouble with the missing install file after a disastrous system restore and found reinstalling legacy would not work. I had to shift my family files to another drive, manually delete all vestiges of legacy from C: drive, download a new version of legacy7 to the desktop and install
