Once in awhile, my input text in those fields doesn't eliminate the gray 'hint
text' and BOTH come up in the finished source text. Usually I catch it in time
and delete the offending text. Thought it was me.

No kidding! When I got my new desktop this May, I got a 21.5" screen and I love
it. I got it esp. for gene work, so I could have my source info open while I
worked on recording the stuff in Legacy. It's really sharp & clear, too. (HP

I guess it *is* an advertising hook for Ancestry non-members, but I have a

I have Vista 64 also, and except for the "silly location" problem I mentioned
yesterday, my Master Location list is working fine.
Q: Is there any other way to get the list to display other than View->Master
Lists->Location ?
I wonder if, when installing Legacy, your virus protection was 'on"
That's a possibility. I am going to sit tight for awhile and not input anything
into Legacy for a couple weeks. Well, maybe one, it's irresistable! BTW if I
wanted to revert to .100 how can I do that?

That clipboard is great, I agree. However, it is inoperable if you are using
the *Free* Legacy version. One of the several reasons I happily switched to the
Deluxe paid version a couple weeks ago!

Tom,
I just tried to uninstall my Legacy7 Deluxe so I could re-install it in hopes
of fixing the Vista x64 problem with the Reports function, and it won't

The first time I tried to uninstall, I used Windows uninstall thru the

I just enjoyed Geoff's Beginner's seminar from May -- great job. I learned a
lot about Legacy7 (I'm a new-ish user) and tried out each feature on my own

I found that neither "Forms Center" nor "Interview Questions" works. I click

When I used quotes like that with nicknames, when I do the potential problems
report, they all come up as errors, "too many quotes in name field" or
something like that. I checked on each one and then told Legacy to ignore that
in future problem reports.
