Does anyone use the To-Do list feature as a research/correspondence log? I
have always kept a seperate research log for every person I am working on. I
am just now starting to play with the to-do list. I see that you can keep
seperate ones for different people as well as a general one which
scratch
using a printout from Legacy as your notes).
I do want to say that I really do like Legacy. It has a lot of great features
that the other programs don't have but this is a shortcoming and I am hoping
this is an area where there will be some improvement.

I want to make a new Legacy fill with certain individuals.
I want DIRECT LINE (from me) along with spouses and siblings. I see that option

I think the reason is because a person can die in one place but be buried in
another. It is pretty common actually. I too had to go through my file and
remove the the name of the cemetery in that field after watching the videos

they were :) I did notice that the Chapman Codes includes that TWO LETTER

I want to check my file for possible duplicates. In rural MS there was quite a
bit of marrying of relatives going on so I am sure I have quite a few dups.

Another glitch I had when converting my FTM generated GEDCOM into Legacy is
many of my sources got mixed up.
I was going through my file and found many instances where the wrong source
was attached to a event. This one is a tad more frustrating. Though I have

What exactly causes the "ghost" parents? I
found this on one of my families yesterday. There were 10 children
altogether but 4 of them were assigned to the dad and an unknown spouse and the

the RINs). I renumbered the RINs showing me as #1.
