Can someone explain the use of the anc and des boxes on an individual's
information screen, please? I cannot find anything in the Help files.

under Individual, Information Screen:

It's at the bottom of the screen, just to the right of the Exclude
from Potential Problems... box and to the left of the Privacy
Settings... box on the Individual's Information screen.

The Anc and Des interest box needs to be checked in OptionsCustomiseData
EntryAncestor /Descendant interest.
