You did not do anything wrong. The list when you open the assigned
sources for a person lists all the places you can add a source. It is up
to you to decide as with did not marry and had no children, if they
apply.

marriage data entry form. If you open the marriage data entry form for
an individual, you will see two check boxes on the upper left side. If
