Valerie: RTF( which stands for Rich Text Format) is a document format that almost all wordprocessors can open. It is very useful for emailing since, unlike other wordprocessor file formats, RTF documents cannot harbour viruses. You might find that email programs will strip any .doc attachments

Hi Dick, This appears to be happening for all Book Reports. The period is there in the Preview but not the space before it. I see the period as a bug. Certainly the space before it is. I've put in a bug report. So the only way to deal with it before a fix is in the RTF where you could search
