We have listers who are on dial-up or metered (limited) downloads and this
is not good for them.

First point. Spell check is a Microsoft thing. I have had problems with it too.
Second, I have forgotten how I did it, but I did go in and remove a few
spelling errors added by mistake, so it can be done. I will try to remember the
actual way I did it. maybe someone out there KNOWS how.

Congratulations, Bob, you've found one of my least liked things about
Legacy. Almost all genealogy programs have some sort of spell-check utility,
some better than others. Legacy's implementation of the spell-check is not
one of its most shining stars but quite frankly I'm glad the programmers put
