You are wonderful! I finally "see". I now realize that others have said the
same thing, but it just didn't penetrate this thick skull.
When "show all events" is unchecked, I have no problem with not seeing
unsourced events if that is the only purpose to that screen. But to add a

1) I always have the "Show All" box checked.
2) Initially, on the screen I only see a list of a few very basic
sources eg BMD bur etc.

Hi Clarence,
Perhaps you would like to submit a suggestion that the program be altered to

Judie,
If I may: When you click to create a source
on an un-sourced item (say the death event), that item doesn't show up unless
you have the check box checked to "Show all Events" because it
is a blank source.

Just to throw in another thought - I sometimes source a marriage, even
if there is no marriage data. So I am glad marriage shows up on the
list of things to be sourced. In your example (if I understand
correctly) a person wouldn't have that option, since there is no data
entered.

Oops...hit the send button too soon. After removing the check from the show

all the possibilities, just start typing the name of the event in the box at
the top. After the first few letters the one you want will appear.

checked (it's just below and slightly to the right of the "Add a new Source"
