I recently installed Windows 7 and ever since every time I launch my Legacy program it first wants to install something called smartsound quicktracks plugin, and get the error code 1706. Using Google, I searched the net for a fix and have downloaded promised fixes, but nothing works and it is

[LegacyUG] Reinstalling Legacy

Thank you to all who provided answers to my problem. The consensus was to download the standard edition and then include my deluxe number I received when I purchased that version, which would then put me into the deluxe version. OK. I did that. Now, though when I try to launch Legacy I get:

I solved my problem. I had to delete Legacy from my computer after creating a GED file. I then deleted the program and reinstalled the standard version, then, using the unlock key for the Deluxe version, I was able to launch and import the GED. All's well in San Jose, CA! Thanks, everyone

Hello Users, I had major computer problems yesterday and evidently several Legacy files were deleted. I am now being prompted to reinstall Legacy 7.0, but when I go to the Legacy site, it looks like I have to purchase this version again to download. Or - is there a workaround on this?
