Hi Gene, Now you're back to a long long way around to my solution ;-) I haven't tried it but you should be able to use an Intellishare merge to merge the tagged group back with the original source attached only to the relevant people. No need to copy and paste each one. Cathy At 07:49 PM

I have somehow gotten a valid master source attached, as unspecified, to 100s of records to which it does not apply. How can I delete that master source from just those records? I can tag the list of individuals that don't want the source, but I am missing the next step. Thanks in advance.

Dan, Yep, your right, incorrectly read. Not enough coffee after just waking. Mark I believe the OP (original poster) wanted to delete the Master Source citations from only some individuals, but not all of them, and keep the original Master Source and it's citations for the other individuals
