I think you just need to sign in again in Legacy. We had to in beta a
few builds ago. And maybe the latest one. I tend to do these things
without thinking.
If you can't access the log in you may need to contact Support.

You've encountered something strange then.
Options aren't saved as part of a Legacy data backup apart from Family
file specific ones. You have to save the folder I referred you to
yourself if you want them saved. Most options from Options-Customise are
saved in the profile.dbm file in the usr

Thomas,
Lots of people have tested it.
It shouldn't change your options with the possible exception of some

I have mine set to always Open to the last couple I worked on. Go to
Options 1.1 and make sure it's set to Family View. That should do it.
Good luck!

Every time I open my file it is in chronology mode and also when I go to

Thank you for your help Elsie. I was able to fix it with the help of
someone at Legacy who was very patient and knowledgeable. We did it all by
email.

Yes, just go to that person then run the Set Relationships using him/her
as the starting person. Then the Relationship report will include the
relationships of people in the file to that person. To reset yourself as
the starting person you will have to go to yourself then redo the Set
Perhaps you are using your father as the start person? If so, it will show his
line. Try using one of his children as the start person. Hope that helps, good
luck.

The list I have created started with me. If I know that the person is related
to a certain section of the family can I change the start up person instead of
myself ?

For now you cannot use the search feature to isolate a specific
relationship.
It has been reported and hopefully will be addressed ASAP.
For now you can print (to CSVfile) the relationship report and then open it
in a spreadsheet for sorting.

Valerie,
There's a suggestion officially logged to make this easier.
For now you Set Relationships to the right person at Tools - Set
Relationships then go to Reports - Other Reports - Relationship Report
and create as a csv.
Open in a spreadsheet and then sort the relationship column.
