Look at the screen LFS gives you when you click to download data from
FamilySearch. The default choice is to create an Alt. event but just
under that is the option to REPLACE the existing event.

information, I end up with ALT dates. Say I have just the year and Family
Search has the entire date, I would have thought it would be easy to p
