I find it convenient to enter an unknown Female spouse as Given [[unknown]]
Surname [[husband's last name]]. They never show up on reports but indicate to
me information that is missing and who it should be attached to.
For an unknown Male I enter Given [[unknown]] Surname [[unknown]] for
What I enter into a name field where I don’t know the last, first or both names
is an underscore (5x). Like that it shows up in reports with the underscore and
people can write the missing name if they know them.

or marriage that the child is not included in that arrangement. I
