When you restore the file, Legacy will give you a chance to rename the
file. It will propose the file name used in the backup but you can use
the filename box on that screen to use any new name you choose. If you
do not change the name you should also be given a second chance when

I have had to restore my family files. How do I rename them so that when
launched, Legacy pulls up the restored files, not the original files?
The original data files are contained in Legacy Family Tree/Data and is
named "Jess 2016-09-21 4.09.25 PM". The folder contains the Legacy
Genealogy
