You have opened a rich text format file and copying the file included all the
rtf mark up language. I would have to experiment to see how to copy only the
desired text.

citation. The preview screen shows the text is bold and underlined. I also the
text is bracketed by the following "gibberish"

Thanks Gene. Not sure how that happened but resolved the problem by retyping
the text in Notepad.
