Wes - Your approach seems logical, although I have a few questions:
1. Why do you first save images as TIFFs, then convert to JPEG? Why not

certificates? Should these be kept in a safe?
3. Is

the extensive time and effort needed to type in the text of each
reasons are sound, so I'll continue putting the effort in, but will try the
tools that Jenny mentioned to see if they relieve some of the tedium.

I've downloaded federal census images from ancestry.com and saved them as
.pdf files, but the copies are too small to be useful/readable. Any
thoughts on how to make readable soft copies of such documents?
Thanks!

apparently convert graphics and images across format types. Has anyone
used this and recommends it before I start converting all of my Legacy

When I go back to the assigned source list, I find that the link to the

Any thoughts?

I inadvertently deleted a person. How can I retrieve him (and all my

I dearly hope someone has an idea as re-entering all of his information
will be time-intensive and painful.

The images are all jpegs and I am linking them under the Media tab when I
create a new source for an event. Does that help?

b. Ethel is correctly listed as their daughter

NEW FILING METHOD 2015 sub-folder.
*QUESTIONS*
1. Will Legacy be able to find my source media if I remove the aaNEW
FILING METHOD 2015 sub-folder from the path?
2. Is there a way to make a global change rather than having to change
the path for each individual document or photo?
Many thanks,
