You have to pass on attribution information, and identify contributors
equally. So you could probably just say "you must credit me" next to a
ZIP file download of the data, but the ZIP file would have to include
the full attribution data. (IANAL, TINLA)

Everyone attributes every element of the chain.

Yes, this could be a problem for long chains. :-)
