Did not finish reading the posting. Again, the comparison with
Peronism and anti-Peronism sets in. "Artificially low" means that
prices were not regulated by large foreign monopolies, but rather by
a domestic government which tried to provide the service to everyone.

"Artificially low" means we are facing an antipopular, reactionary,
regime which will try to turn the country into cold ashes in order to
comply with whatever orders they receive from abroad.

"Artificially low" means prices and wages are not established with
the intention to achieve an equilibrium that does not elliminate
domestic market (mass consumption market, not luxury market) as the
site where capital is realized, but with the intention to reduce the
purchasing power of the masses.

"Artificially low" prices means, in fact, "people here are earning
too much, we need to drive them to misery in order to become a
colony".

Oh, yes, I know this verse very well. Argentinian public services
were also blamed for "artificially low" costs. "Artificial", in these
cases, always means "not complying with what imperialists need".
