Did you get past your installation problems? I wish I had kept careful notes on what I tried before I finally got my Win7 install to work...it took hours and several install-delete-install cycles. And I do remember the frustration of not finding the binary leo installer that was supposed to

I downloaded the new code base to try out the new importers. (Leo 5.4, december 8th) I am seeing extended stalling of different parts of the program, where everything freezes and the program does not respond to keypresses or mouse clicks. The stall lasts for up to 30 seconds or a minute,

Hi Edward, I'm very new to Leo and I think I'm trying to do something similar to what was asked in this post. I'm trying to use Leo to create batch files. The release number has to repeat throughout the file. How can I store it in a header node and reference it from a sub node? Many

Haha, I *do *see that it is a demo. And as such I'm not as much "using" it as evaluating it. I've determined that at the moment that urwid is the really the only mature terminal GUI framework worth investing in. In about 6-8 months it seems likely that prompt-tool-kit will be fully refactored

Try this for yourself and see what happens: Scenario 1 (@@ Section as first child node) 1) Create a new new empty node say, @auto-md Some File.md 2) Create a new child node say, @@ Section 1 (body text optional) 3) Save the file to create the external file. Viewed in external editor, the layout

Hi, I just found Leo yesterday after looking for years - more than a decade, actually -for such a programming tool. At least that is what I think I am looking at in Leo. I see lots of video examples of using Leo to write outlines in general and even a few with snippets of code. And I even
