The next release must indeed be 5.2 b1. It is needed to smooth out
distribution issues, regardless of how many bugs remain. Still to do:

B1 is certainly on for this Friday. If we can get the extra redraw bug
fixed we could even contemplate releasing 5.2 final without a beta release.
