The Linux From Scratch community announces the release of LFS Version
9.1-rc1. It is a preliminary release of LFS-9.1.
Major changes include toolchain updates to binutils-2.34 and glibc-2.31.
In total, 36 packages were updated since the last release. Changes to
the text have also been made

I needed to add `-Dnoextensions=Time/HiRes' because otherwise, the
compilation failed with the following message due to the extension
placing `-lrt' in the file ext.libs that in turn required the Glibc's
