When building libXrandr 1.5.0 [1] I see the following in the configure
output.

Reading *6.9.2.2. Adding time zone data*, shouldn’t the directory
`zoneinfo` be copied to `/usr/share/`, and not only the files `*.tab`?
At least, that’s the way on a Debian Stretch/stable system.
