Host system: Berry Linux LiveCD 0.62 (LFS LiveCD does not boot on my system)
The following is the issue that presents itself when I attempt to
perform the sanity
Yes, I was still in the binutils-build directory when I issued the /make
-C ld/ command. Should I have created a symlink for the the ld
subdirectory in binutil's source folder?

I used EXACTLY the same commands that are in the book to compile
binutils. I can't post my command history because I logged out of the
LiveCD session.
