Hi Libtech

Citizen Lab has a new research post up today regarding our ongoing analysis of
LINE keyword filtering.

The summary is as follows:

On Wednesday September 24, 2014, regionally-based keyword filtering features in
the LINE chat app were updated. The most notable change is the introduction of
regular expressions to the keyword list, which enables more advanced keyword
matching. The addition of regular expressions demonstrates LINE Corporation’s
continued commitment to filtering keywords for users based in China and a push
to improve the underlying technology.
