Ben, Sierra can use pyramid elements. Perhaps Derek or I could try to calculate element volumes for your mesh using Encore to see if we get positive numbers. Or we could compare notes on mapping and shape functions for pyramids if you want to get that detailed. We might even have a really coars

Is anyone out there using pyramids? I've got a hybrid hex/tet/pyramid mesh in exodusII format. (ExodusII has undocumented support for pyramids, meaning I guessed at their node ordering since it is not in the old documentation.) So now I get negative Jacobians on a *subset* of my pyramids, which
