My favorite way is to add an ExplicitSystem named "auxiliary" or
"post" to my EquationsSystem... then add all of the variables I want
to calculate through postprocessing to that system. Then, when I'm
postprocessing, I fill up the values in that auxiliary system.

i "store" these nodal values in the mesh so as that i'll retrieve them
through GMVIO, VTKIO, ExodusII_IO classes for vis
