Of course that means that LO can't upgrade its Gerrit right now because it would inconvenience, if not lock out, some percentage of the accounts still tied to Google's OpenID--getting them migrated to alternate OpenID providers needs to happen in no uncertain terms so that when Google shuts down its OpenID 2 service folks are not locked out of LO Gerrit. Unfortunately, as with my experience with the StackExchange OpenID, I really don't think the cut over will be seamless or uneventful for LO project. @David Os., Norbert--did I get that right? Much improves the rendering experience, and decreases the amount of oom's
too.

PS: Windows 2012 somehow ended-up with a 'ghost' directory that no-one could delete not even Admin ( Windows these days is so secure than even Administrator does not have the permission to delete files yeah that is the symptom: 'Permission denied' whatever you try to do with that Directory...) Current behavior: nothing happens, the cursor keeps it cross arrow shape. In the console, I see many warning messages like this: warn:vcl.opengl:24226:1:vcl/opengl/gdiimpl.cxx:1558: check where this call is coming from! NOT IMPLEMENTED YET! These messages do not appear if I do the same without OpenGL enabled for all rendering. Tested with master built at home under Ubuntu 14.10 x86-64. I haven't tried a different version of make as Juergen suggests, but I confirm that the issue has to do with the fact that make doesn't generate the invariant data that the python script excepts. Specifically, all the # lines that contain the paths and filenames are missing from the output, hence the python script's failure to generate proper project/solution files. I know I built the latest gmake for libreoffice and I also know that I've successfully generated project/solution files at certain points in the past couple of months. I suspect make breaks due to --enable-dbgutil, but haven't verified. So using a minimal configure flags it might work. I uninstalled 4.4.0.3 and installed 4.3.6.2. The problem did not exist. I could view Impress presentations, including the first slide with no problems. Therefore, the bug seems to have been introduced in version 4.4.0.3. I then re-installed version 4.4.0.3 and the bug reappeared. I messed around with some of the settings and discovered that if I went to Tools-Options-LibreOffice-View and unchecked the Use hardware acceleration box then the bug disappears. All slides can be viewed as normal, including the first slide. Thus, it seems to be a problem, introduced in 4.4.0.3 with the hardware acceleration feature. So, unless Gerrit has decided not to, or is unable to, migrate to OpenID Connect by the deadline, migrating to OpenID Connect should be seamless and uneventful. Please check to see how Word 2013 does with exporting your sample to ODF
formatted .odt document--and open that .odt with LibreOffice. Any improvement?

LibreOffices filters parse the OOXML formula text into an OLE with LO Math
language strings:

The OOXML import filter conversion results in the same ODF OLE formulas back to
the 3.5 branch. OOXML formulas are not parsed for 3.4 or 3.3 builds so just the
text shows.
Changing the font to MS centric Cambria Math does not alter the outcome.
Interested to see how the MS Word 2013 OOXML export as ODF behaves.
