[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128803] Copy / pasting text in Calc sometimes pastes as an image
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128803 duceil changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from duceil --- Can confirm this suspected 'mutter' bad effect on calc 6.3.3 and mutter 3.34.1: -happen with a calc spreadsheet when trying to copy/paste a formula cell: 1) from a column's cell, right click to copy it 2) select the first same column's cell to paste: get a graphic created (kind of image with 4 cells which are draggable and extendable) instead of the normal pasting result. 3) deleting that graphic objet, then re-copying the original cell, finally the pasting is done as expected. This has been seen for each copy/paste since calc 6.3.3 upgrade, not prior. Also note that now LO is unable to load/open an ods file : after the Nov 11th upgrades; Does not get error from a terminal. Only get a dialog box telling calc has silently crashed and will then try to recover the ods file: but there is no file listed to recover. Indeed that ods file load/open as usual with version prior to Focal. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115321 --- Comment #5 from QA Administrators --- Dear himajin10, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128518] Base: FB: Drop table not possible
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128518 --- Comment #7 from mhonline --- Linux-ish? Well W10/64 and LO 6.3.2/portable with J-VM 201 I tried to reproduce it with new LO 6.3.3.2 and now it works as expected. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128558] Firebird Embedded : Auto-numbering can be overwritten
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128558 --- Comment #3 from mhonline --- Created attachment 155864 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=155864=edit confusing table-view and numbering I retested behavior of auto-numbering in Form-View with table-view ON and found it confusing. 1. Auto-numbering delivers numbers, that can be overwriten in any view (5==>10 etc) whereas the vieworder is accordingly to the internal record-number. If this is ment as a feature (what it should not be), this needs to be stated somewhere 2. the table within the table-view seems to be not well connected to FB-table in the background. Attached you can find some experiments using the copy-function. the shown results are unpredictable/confusing - however, when closing and reopening the form-view, the results are now as expected. Since the neccessity of close/reopen is a no-go, this is a regression. m. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

vcl/qt5/Qt5Widget.cxx |5 - 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) New commits: commit 876303943113bb7fa09c3b344a832f714ac2d8e3 Author: Jan-Marek Glogowski AuthorDate: Thu Nov 14 23:25:10 2019 +0100 Commit: Jan-Marek Glogowski CommitDate: Fri Nov 15 22:37:27 2019 +0100 tdf#128710 Qt5 don't force immediate paint on show I tried to build a minimal reproducer with QMainWindow and a QDialog and miserably failed. All variants of show, hide, modal change, move, resize, processEvents(QEventLoop::AllEvents) just worked. I was able to produce "qt.qpa.xcb: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow) ... major code: 18 (ChangeProperty)" entries in my ~/.xsession-errors, but that didn't matter for my program. Then I started to comment code blocks in Qt5Frame and after that continued in Qt5Widget, found that ShowEvent produced a modal window, albeit with an obviously missing paint event. But that is fixable by just queuing one in LO. I tried to debug that broken behaviour to find the real cause of the bug, but as I already knew from commit e770bacc85a0 ("Qt5 workaround modal change after show bug"), this bug has some timing related component, so that sadly didn't result in any conclusion. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 38481] Envelope layout wrong for centered lengthwise (OKI printers)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38481 --- Comment #30 from Todd --- Created attachment 155863 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=155863=edit Scan of bad envelope Answer for Dan. No symptom change. I am a consultant. I am a big fan of Libre Office and have try to get my customer to use it. No one likes it. This is a good example of why. Oh well, I make money selling M$O too. In my own office, I use Word Pro under Wine to print envelopes. It has not been supported for what, 15 years now, and it still runs circles around LO's envelope printing. And Word Pro does division tabs, which you won't support either (bug 33173). That bug request is years old as well. And you have division tabs in calc, so there is really no excuse. Please jump on this an fix it as soon as possible. An office suite MUST print envelopes properly to even start to be useful in an office/business situation. Smart Suite (Word Pro) is now a free download. Check out how slick envelope printing is, especially highlighting an address, like in your letter head, before creating an envelope: https://archive.org/details/LotusSmartSuite99 This bug is HOW MANY YEARS OLD? Not to complain, but GUYS! You are shooting yourself in the foot ! Who want to use an office suite THAT CAN'T PRINT AN ENVELOPE Other than that, love you guys.
