[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 129225] Copy & paste HTML with pictures from web should results in scaled pictures sizes which are fit the page margins

2021-06-10 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129225

Reproducible in:

Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha1+ / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 17694c906f94a195a2d5086e0e87afa1c852107b
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@86-TDF, Branch:master, Time:
2021-06-09_20:52:06
Calc: threaded

With the steps:

1. Go to https://idaflieg.de/?p=891
2. Select a range that includes the last picture and some of the surrounding
text
3. Paste into new Writer document

Actual result:

Image overflows to the right

Expected result:

The picture is resized (while conserving ratio) to fit the page (vertically or
horizontally, whichever results in the biggest picture).

Note that simply copying and pasting the picture on its own will resize as
expected.

Dear Lionel Elie Mamane,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 142780] New: LibreOffice Impress cannot page down or up, while Zoom interpreter console is running on windows

2021-06-10 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142780

Bug ID: 142780
Summary: LibreOffice Impress cannot page down or up, while Zoom
interpreter console is running on windows
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.1.1.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: mikepro...@outlook.com

Description:
The page up and down functions of LibreOffice Impress freeze up and cannot
navigate slides, view slideshow as soon as the interpretation console on Zoom
is provided by the Host to the Zoom interpreter. Please note that this bug
affect the Zoom user doing the language intepretation, and not the one using
the language interpretation function.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a slide show in LibreOffice Impress
2.Open Zoom and be assigned as the language intepreter on Zoom
3.Attempt to navigate the slideshow using the page up or down, or arrow up or
down keys.

Actual Results:
The slides cannot be navigated. The only way to change to viewing the next
slide is to go back to slide sorter view, (Alt+D) / (Alt+V) and click with
mouse on next slide.

Expected Results:
When providing language interpretation in Zoom, that is, when using a language
console assigned by the Host on Zoom, I should be able to navigate a
LibreOffice Impress file using my page up or down keys, or my arrow up or down
keys.

Reproducible: Always

modified draw odg file

This is a pattern to be pasted onto plywood. It was four pages, I made some
changes to lines, then moved components to be more compact. Moved three
"Support" objects from page 4 to pages 2 and 3, then deleted page 4. The moved
objects on pages 2 and 3 have disappeared from PDF export and do not show in
the print dialog preview, or on a printout to lexmark laser printer, pdf file,
or HP inkjet.

I did a work around, exported each page to .SVG and printed through Inkscape
which worked perfectly.

   Version: 7.1.3.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org

Description:
After multiple purges and reinstalls, ppa and snap source, Libreoffice
continues to crash while making Master Document and Subdocuments. It creates
the subdocuments but not the .odm document and leave debris file named
something like lu14227rckgmc.tmp. With openjdk-11 or without.

I also can't find the log file anywhere.

Environment:
Linux Mint 19.3 Mate
Version: 7.1.3.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 12a8e3cbd24a3757385a302d290655d4f3c7ebf1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open my .odt file
2. Send > create new master document
3. wait a few seconds
4. crash
5. recovers .odt file open relaunching

Actual Results:
Exactly as the description says. It crashes and fails to properly produce the
.odm and .odt files.

Expected Results:
one .odm file and subdocuments in .odt format.

Reproducible: Always
