backport this bug to all maintained version of LibreOffice

Thank you in advance!

 Try instsetoo_native/util/openoffice.lst. You have OxygenOffice

What is the best way to build package OxygenOffice product? I saw
the PRODUCTNAME has set in configure.in:
configure.in:PRODUCTNAME=AC_PACKAGE_NAME

The packaging stage prints:

Re: [Libreoffice] additional symbols or alternatively stencils in Draw templates

2011-09-15 Thread KAMI911 KAMI911
Hello Folks,

Of course I am interested to and new, useful gallery elements to the
suite and create a new extension.

You can create the gallery as usual way. I prefer vector based
elements over pictures. In your case it has several advantage.

In this case AVOID_BURN_IN_FOR_GALLERY_THEME enviroment variable may
be useful for you. You should create gallery after this enviromental
variable is exported/set.

I can help to create oxt extension file.

Adding gallery to LibreOffice in integrated way is harder, but if we
decide to do this I can also help here -- I added several gallery to
LO that is not enabled by default.

Moreover I have/created several gallery in various theme, for example
I created and remastered plenty of electronical parts.

What is BPMN?

Users can add their draws to gallery just use the ctrl key before the
drag and drop operation. Or use Caolán's smart gallery extension.

For examination you might download and unzip one of my extension:
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/oxygenoffice-gallery

I am open to enrich this gallery and add more (vector) elements from
this gallery to the main LO builds.

Creating 3D gallery with Draw also an interesting opportunity... I
started that a year ago.

Back to the environment variables:

Using GALLERY_ENABLE_ID_DIALOG, GALLERY_SHOW_PRIVATE_TITLE are
useful for localization. I will help here.

Maybe GALLERY_SHOW_HIDDEN_THEMES is the key to crate individual
toolbar for newly created elements. This requres more things to do...

So that is all for first. I hope it helped.

If you want to check my gallery files, here are the repository:
http://ooop.svn.sf.net/viewvc/ooop/trunk/extras/source/gallery/

Here is a small sample code to create extension:
http://ooop.svn.sf.net/viewvc/ooop/trunk/utils/gallery/

Use the create_gallery.sh file
It is not designed to use other galleries, but changing variables is
enogh to create your own gallery.

If you have a question, do not hesitate to ask.

So, the existing galleries are in extras/source/gallery. Perhaps Kami
can give an overview of how to add a new gallery to extras for the

Is there anybody else interested in such an extension and able to aid

Galleries can be deployed as extensions as well as integrated right into
the installed product, there should be some preexisting examples
 available, googling on Gallery Extensions.

FWIW I have an extension at

[Libreoffice] [REVIEW] templates and icons, small fixes

2011-06-04 Thread KAMI911 KAMI911
Hi Developers,

I pushed two patches to master. If you agree please cherry-pick into 3-4 too.

First one is related to templates and common (language independent)
folder is introduced
move default language independent layout templates - master

http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/libs-core/commit/?id=faef37dc2c41b9183b91ceb06a72c6f11cc6dd65

Another one is a patch to always use libreoffice(version) as icon
name. This will solve some problem of mine with packaged desktop files
that dont have icons because of bad icon name.

Using $(ICONPREFIX.libreoffice)- as icon prefix - master

Re: [Libreoffice] Templates path, move language independent stuffs to common folder

2011-05-29 Thread KAMI911 KAMI911
Hi Andras, Michael, Caolan!

I would like to share my findings.

1)

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37597 is not related to
my problem. It seems templates are checked only only one level not
recursively in the subdirs.
Maybe a fix need for it.

2) Michael, en-US forlder in added by report designer:

extensions/report-builder/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/Paths.xcu
node oor:name=%origin%/../../../../../template oor:op=fuse/
To fix it we should change this path to
%origin%/../../../../../template/en-US/wizard

3) Related to templates path that I would like to change

The current settings are in
officecfg/registry/schema/org/openoffice/Office/Common.xcs:

prop oor:name=Template oor:type=oor:string-list
  info
 authorMBA/author
descSpecifies the templates originate from these folders and
sub-folders./desc
   /info
  value
oor:separator=:$(insturl)/share/template/$(vlang):$(insturl)/share/template:$(userurl)/template/value

prop oor:name=Template oor:type=oor:string-list
   info
descSpecifies the default directory where all provided
templates are located in folders and sub-folders./desc
   /info
   value
oor:separator=:$(insturl)/share/template/$(vlang):$(insturl)/share/template:$(userurl)/template/value

(also I did small changes in scp2 module too.

When I set
$(insturl)/share/template/$(vlang):$(insturl)/share/template/common:$(userurl)/template
in Common.xcs I expected to Settings/Path UI comes up with all three
paths like this:
/opt/libreoffice3.4/basis3.4/share/template/hu (hu is my current UI language)
/opt/libreoffice3.4/basis3.4//share/template/common
/home/kami/.oxygenoffice/3/user/template

but I only get /home/kami/.oxygenoffice/3/user/template

Then I added as
$(insturl)/share/template/$(vlang)/:$(insturl)/share/template/common/:$(userurl)/template/,
so I closed I path with /. then I get this
/opt/libreoffice3.4/basis3.4/share/template/hu (hu is my current UI language)
/opt/libreoffice3.4/basis3.4//share/template/common
/home/kami/.oxygenoffice/3/user/template
/home/kami/.oxygenoffice/3/user/template

So are we confident about leaving closing /is the good practice?

So finally I tested with:

  value
oor:separator=:$(insturl)/share/template/$(vlang)/:$(insturl)/share/template/common/value

And I got the desired path settings:
/opt/libreoffice3.4/basis3.4/share/template/hu (hu is my current UI language)
/opt/libreoffice3.4/basis3.4//share/template/common
/home/kami/.oxygenoffice/3/user/template

What is your opinion? Why closing / matters? Can I commit patch for
it in master? Then I would like to get it to 3-4 if this is the good
behavior.

Regards,
KAMI

Linux only) Is it possible to use build services for other platforms?
Using share/template folder in path creates a problem: you all subdirs
appear as empty subdir in the templates selector of File - New - From
 template.
I would like to fix this issue by moving language independent fulder
to a subfolder (common) and set the path to this share/template/common
 folder instead of share/template.

 Have you seen this bug?
 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37597
 It may be related.

 Regards,
 Andras

If you did a ./g pull -r already and it succeeded - you're up to
date :-) I use ./g branch - to check the branch tags too.

 svx/inc/svx/svdpntv.hxx:    void UpdateDrawLayersRegion(OutputDevice*

Hi Michael,

But yes - the --enable-extra-gallery stuff all sounds great to have in
the stock build, rather than in patches - so more people can use and get
familiar with your great work. [ We should really have a talk from you
at the conference about why it is that we havn't shipped that stuff in
the past - I forget the details ;-].

Of course we can chat about, I am interested :oD.

make that work nicely I think.

Alternatively, you might keep your branding locally and use

 --with-intro-bitmap=/path/to/your/intro.bmp
 --with-about-bitmap=/path/to/your/about.bmp

It worked in the libreoffice-3-3 branch. It is still supposed to work
 even in libreoffice-3-4 branch.

Ok.  I at least got it fixed on master, with Norbert's help.

Got it cherry-picked to the 3.4 branch as well.  I hope this will fix it

 Nice ! :-)

Are there any ongoing development to create SmartArt related thing?

Well - we have a prototype of this, which is badly need for OOXML
import - since the SmartArt stuff is serialised as XML entities with no
 preview (last I looked).

Maybe the best would be to as like the Chart2 module. But we need
help for the first steps. How can we start it? Or are there any
related documentation, design draft, goal etc?

So - Thorsten has some code for this, and we'd love to help mentor
 it -
as you say, it is a huge missing piece - and we'd really love to have
 that integrated with the core.

ATB,

Michael.

Re: [Libreoffice] Smart art like functionality

2011-04-20 Thread KAMI911 KAMI911
Hi Thorsten, Michael,

As we discussed before, java is not preferred around LibreOffice. That is
why we decided to check the possible ways. However we have a never (interm)
release with more diagrams, possibilities like converting between diagrams,
etc. What do you think about? I hope we can gang up on smart art thing but
we prefer to create tools for end user to create diagrams in user friendly
way.

 Hi Kami,

just played a bit with that extension, really nice - but why would
you want to go for a _C_ lib?

As Michael mentions, there's a prototype patch to handle Smart art
 in Draw/Impress, it's here:

 http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/build/tree/patches/dev300/oox-smartart-import.diff

Would be cool to work on that jointly!

If I install system provided translation-toolkit (version 1.7 on Ubuntu
11.04) it tries to use that but the build fails because of missing
--skipsource in 1.7 however I am using internal translation toolkit. I think
it can be a path problem where the a system installed translation-toolkit
masks the version comes form the build system.

I provide the attached patch to fix this problem. I simply move
translate-toolkit python modules to bin. I hope this will solve the problem.
Please commit it to master and 3-4 if you agree.

Not tested other platform than Linux.

Hi,

I recently build a new version from libreoffice-3-4. I found that it does
not not support:

* patches/dev300 infrastructure to patch the source
* download infrastructure for additional stuffs

Are we planning this features for bootstrap repo? Or this only for build
repo?
