OK, I started again from scratch.
The build went fine, but unfortunately the result code wouldn't start.
It shows the splash window and eventualy there comes an error message window
saying this:
The application cannot be started.
com.sun.star.deployment.DeploymentException: EntityRef: expecting
--with-system-mysql --with-system-jpeg
--enable-dbus --with-max-jobs=1 --libdir=$TOPDIR $DEBUG $*
So my next question is whether it is possible that LO can run without libdtrans
for some reason and what may be the possible cause ?

I managed to build the recent version of Libreoffice 3.5.0 on x86_64 Linux.
The only problem I have found so far is that the CTRL-V clipboard paste does
not do anything, as if the clipboard is empty.
However, the middle mouse button works.
