Your are right it is a CTL script,   workswith bur. Maybe till the
correction, I can continue to use bur. Let me know when the solution is
found.
I would like to push my dictionaries in gerrit, I succeed to connect to
it, to clone it with ssh, (the dictionaries branch) But when I want to
push I have an error permission. How to get permission to push on gerrit
on an branch (my own branch named kikongo).

Bah, wrong, it is already CTL, my tool needs to be adapted to newer
sources..

So then, the dictionary may need to state that, as lined out earlier on

"Burmese" which? If from the language listbox then that Burmese is
'my-MM' which does not match the wrong 'bur' code you introduced with
the dictionary, which probably is listed at top of the language list as
"{bur}". Other than that, I'm confused by your Tamil vs Burmese mix and
how you can get Burmese corrections in a Tamil paragraph, maybe related
to the non-CTL vs CTL script assignments and detection of scripts.

'bur' in this context is wrong, because it is the 639-2/B bibliographic
code, not a 639-2/T terminology code or 639-3 code.

'my' not working, my guess is now it's because Myanmar (Burmese) script

Before to found the solution I wrote a other message, maybe it can be
interesting for you because it is a strange behaviour. The message:

I installed the oxt for the tamil dic. After reboot, in the list of
languages I have well the green/blue V that indicate I have the

But not yet for Burmese even if the hunspell dic is installed.
The strange think it is if I wrote in Burmese, I have the Burmese words
proposed in the list of corrections. But the active language of the
paragraph is Tamil. If I wrote in Tamil it is the tamil words in the
proposition of correction. If I change the language of the paragraph for
Burmese, I have no more proposition of correction.

I create already a new repo on gitlab :

dic, the other things are not in my skills.

Yes, already done. But The dic doesn't "work". After installing the oxt,
or copy the files in /usr/share/hunspell. The spellchecking doesn't
work. Burmese or Myanmar don't appear in the list of language. I tried
to add manually "my" and "my_MM". Nothing. Can have a look to the
extension in gitlab to be sure I didn't make errors in it?
I remember similar problem when I tried to do the Kikongo (Kituba)
dictionary.

Ok I download the deb package, but I had dependencies issues with
Libreoffice of the Ubuntu official ppa, I need to install LO from the
Document Fondation website. Well it is now in Burmese! Very good.
Maybe for the hunspell spellchecker,  I need to use an other code, no?
Bu or something like that?

I did some tests with similar languages. I install the Tamil and the
Thai oxt spellcheckers, both give nothing as correction (with little V
green logo).
But Tamil I install it on a system already and it worked well. Why now
not? Probably the problem is the same for all this 3 spellcheckers?

You can't expect a translation of another version (specifically not OOo)
to work in a current LibreOffice version. Maybe Ubuntu doesn't offer

Just in case 64bit Linux is correct for you - if you start on the main
download page, find your OS and you will find a link to the language packs
there for your particular OS.

I'm currently helping a friend to use Libreoffice for the publication of
a book in Myanmar. But all the links for Myanmar/burmese in this page
point to very old package no more compatible with new LO release:

To type text the installation of the palauk font solve the problem on
Ubuntu.
For dictionary on this link

probably possible to create a new extension for Libreoffice. I'm ready
to do the work, but I couldn't maintain it. Would it be possible to add
it directly to Libreoffice sources?
