Then it should be easy indeed to tune them to show our EasyHacks (QA/Development/other). Please open a EasyHack for that (Component WWW), if you are willing to mentor. Also maybe tickle the website mailing list about it to find a volunteer. Crossposting to the dev-list as having this is about EasyHacks in general, not only QA. New Easy Hack Tracking System -- Developer Input Required
Hi All, I think this is the easiest way to keep track of bugs that QA thinks easy hack is appropriate but that we don't have the programming skills to direct users to appropriate code or assign a developer to mentor the bug fixer as they try to tackle these easy hacks. This will help us move more bugs into easy hack status but requires both QA and developers to keep track of the list. Re: New Easy Hack Tracking System -- Developer Input Required
Joel, I have just been adding ProposedEasyHack whiteboard status which I think is easier that having to add it to a wiki page too. A query on bugzilla for NEW bugs with that status gives 48 results. I think we just need a/some developer(s) to commit to checking that list every so often and making the transition. Cheers, Jack ___ LibreOffice mailing list LibreOffice@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice
Re: New Easy Hack Tracking System -- Developer Input Required
i'm happy with that as well. Our team needs to commit more to adding that status as frequently as possible. We've been specifically requested by the devs to be on the lookout for easy hacks. I'll add proposedeasyhack to those few and remove the wiki entry. I'll let them know at our next call that we're going to be more aggressive at putting this whiteboard status. Thanks for the communication. Not sure if you noticed but the google doc is updated, your section is now fresh and ready to be tackled.
