libreoffice-kf5 is probably not the cause of the problem, since KDE Plasma is
not used on the computer where LibreOffice encounters this problem.

For us, removing the libreoffice-kf5 package used on the KDE plasma desktop
makes the issue go away?!

Well, this is surprising, this is the very error I fixed on my end. At least
from the user point of view, maybe there's another case where the backup copy
creation fails which I didn't encounter?
