Do following:
1: Open libreOffice Writer.
2: File/New document
3: press enter two times to make something to save.
4: File/Save as and make filename Test.doc . Notice DOC format!
5: Insert/Field/More Fields/File name without extension. Press insert.
6: Save file
7: Close libreOffice program.
8: Double click the file Test.doc and libreOffice will open the text document.
9: Now the Field in document is WITH extension. Earlier it was without
extension.
If text document was saved with original .ODT format all works correctly but in
DOC format extension will occur again.
