Bug ID: 106119
Summary: LibreOffice Writer label dimension of 1/100" is too
coarse
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.1.4.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: douglas_pe...@yahoo.com
Description:
Using Avery 8167 return address labels with 20 rows of labels on a US letter
page, the bottom label prints about 0.05" higher than the first. With a
resolution of 1/100", this can not be fixed because a 0.01" change in the
spacing results in a 0.2" shift of the last label. The labels are only 0.5"
tall.
Please allow 0.001" resolution.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.try to change vertical pitch by 0.001"
2.
3.
Actual Results:
vertical pitch does not change.
Try and change it by 0.005", and it changes by 0.01" instead.
Expected Results:
I expected to be able to adjust the alignment of the last label to match that
of the 1st. Smallest step change moved the last label text way too far.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
The spacing numbers in the template are correct, I am attempting to compensate
for a slight scaling by the printer/printer driver.
