Description:
WiFi Direct has been in the market for many years (2010 was the year where
products began to appear) and is practically supported by any modern WiFi card.

The advantages are a simpler configuration, stable and wide connection compared
to bluetooth and doesn't require an intermediary AP (ideal when there is no
WiFi network available and bluetooth doesn't work). There are several tools
that facilitate the Wifi Direct connection in Windows and macOS (in GNU/Linux
is a bit more complex, but there is work in progress:
