Description:
Libre Office 3 saved my spreadsheets quite quickly, depending on their size.
The speed bar immediate began to show the saving rate which, again, obviously
depended on the spreadsheet size. Under Libre Office 5, however, the saving
time can be many times that under Libre Office 3 for the same spreadsheets. On
requesting close and save, the screen freezes and it can be minutes before the
speed bar appears, after which the save proceeds normally. Larger spreadsheets
tend to yield the longest times but, whilst the lengths of the delays varies,
they are usually quite long. I cannot find the exact version of Libre Office 5
on my computer.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a spreadsheet.
2.Make one or two changes
3.Attempt to close and save the amended version

Expected Results:
The delays do not appear to affect the integrity of the spreadsheets but
considerable patience is needed for the process to terminate normally.
