            Bug ID: 130377
Summary: Request: add more cell border options in the menu
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: david.cortes.riv...@gmail.com

When I select some cells in Calc and want to give them borders to make them
distinguishable from other cells, I usually want to have a distinction between
thin and thick borders.

In MS Excel, this is easy to do as it’s right there in the options when I click
the “borders” icon in the toolbar, but in Calc, there is no option for thick
borders. Instead, the process would need to be to select the cells, press
Ctrl+1, set the desired borders, and adjust the thickness in there, which is
inconvenient.

As well, the default options for borders do not include double lines in
parallel, even though it’s in the options from MS Excel and from Ctrl+1.

Would be nice if Calc would offer by default the options for thick borders and
double lines (top+bottom) in the clickable menu.
