LibreOffice and MS Office do not use the same format for their files by
default. As we have seen, LibreOffice uses ODF. For their part, older versions
of MS Office use a closed format (DOC, XLS, etc.)

I have installed libreoffice 7.1.4.2 on Ubuntu and it gives me the same problem
