Bug ID: 143882 Summary: LibreOffice has now become completely unusable with Windows' high contrast mode Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.1.5.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: getph...@cool.ms Description: As stated above, LibreOffice has now become completely unusable with Windows' high contrast mode. I am unable to see the menu bar which is displayed in full white on white whereas my settings would tell it to show #ccddee (font color) on #112233 (background color). In other words, it completely disregards any of my system settings. Interestingly, this does not fully apply to the main program (when you just start LibreOffice, not Writer, Calc, or any of the others) which displays the menu bar white on a very light gray (#f6f6f6). Again, this is not a color defined by me but the main program displays it anyway for some unknown reason. Opening one of the apps changes it to white on white, though. Also, the icon bar on the right side of the window shows no icons/buttons. It only shows a border around a supposed button when hovering with the mouse over it and otherwise displays the background color with no foreground color. This has already been an issue with version 7. I do not remember any such issues with prior versions. Please note this all solely applies to the UI rendering, not the document rendering, which is actually fine and doesn't force you to fiddle with the color settings like prior versions did. But the UI's gone bad and needs some serious fixing. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Press Alt+Shift+PrtScr. 2. Press Alt+Shift+PrtScr. 3. Compare, and try to fix that mess. Actual Results: Unusable UI Expected Results: A usable UI no matter the color mode Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.1.5.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 85f04e9f809797b8199d13c421bd8a2b025d52b5 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_DE); UI: en-US Calc: CL -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
