Bug ID: 144442 Summary: Calc "Paste Special" Menue GUI optimization Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.2.0.0.beta1+ Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: so...@web.de Description: Since 7.2 the menu for "paste special" has been changed. ► I work very much with CALC and this additional menue. But the new design is a bit unpleasant when used regularly..... Since as it is now it is a bit more tiring on the eye to read/use and more difficult to use. I've been using 7.2 for quite some time and thought I'd get used to it, but unfortunately that's not the case even after weeks. If you are using the arrow keys on the keyboard te select the checkboxes you would like to use, the selection jumps from left to right, right to left, and so on. Also in some "groups" a jump to another group is possible with TAB in some other groups not. I find the new menu very successful in itself, also because of the presets. My questions: A. Is it possible to customize the presets? E.g. only formulas. → the respective presettings are dependent on the user/process. B. could you customize the design if necessary? and make a mixture of 7.1/7.2??? ▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲ this is the small summary from the Telegram thread "LibreOffice DE". Heiko has made a quick suggestion or changed something in this menu. → see attached file But the community should vote on whether this will be adjusted in the next build or not. ► therefore this message Steps to Reproduce: 1. open calc 2. copy something 3. press ctrl+shift+v 4. try only to select (just example!) the formula with the Keyboard 5. try the same with version 7.1.5 and see the diffence in useability Actual Results: useability is degraded Expected Results: improved useability :) Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: not needed -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
