Bug ID: 146474 Summary: LibreOffice Writer crashes after creating footer with variables "filename", "date (d.m.yyyy), "page" and "numpages" Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.1.8.1 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: sagit...@gmx.de Description: Writer version is from LibreOffice_7.1.8_Win_x64.msi Used a Word (*.doc, NOT *.docx) file with 30 pages containing some web links and saved it as *.odt --> fine Added a footer with variables "filename", "date" (d.m.yyyy), "page" and "numpages". When I click on close footer, Writer immediately crashes. Upon restart of Writer, it offers me to restore the lates file version (which then contains NO footer). Editing footer again leads to the same crash. Steps to Reproduce: See description above Actual Results: Writer crashes in: SalInstanceTreeView::get_drag_source() Unfortunately after searching for the crashcode in bugzilla (followed the shown link), I now don't know where to find the uploaded crashlog. If you check for module name and date 29.12.2021 approx. 19:45 o'clock you should be able to see 2 crashlogs from my Writer. Expected Results: Expected to continue using Writer, being able to edit the file. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.1.8.1 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: e1f30c802c3269a1d052614453f260e49458c82c CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE Calc: CL -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
