            Bug ID: 155391
Summary: Two consecutive days, two completely identical
catastrophic crashes. Good average eh ?
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.4.2.3 release
          Hardware: Other
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: peter.find...@gmail.com

Editing a CALC file, it's a file I edit most days.

Yesterday (17-May) while updating the file I had got through about two thirds
of my work when your software crashed my Mac! It crashed so totally that a
FORCE QUIT showed that NOTHING was responding, not even FINDER ! I've never
seen a Mac crashed so totally !

Today, exactly the same thing happened, a total crash.

Despite you trying to pull the wool over my eyes by saying that the file was
recovered on both days - IT WASN'T ! On both occasions I was back to the file
in the state it was in before I started to edit it ! What a complete waste of
time !

I used to use OpenOffice, but that was so SLOW, it was rather like watching
paint dry, watching that spinning beach ball for hours on end, but at least it
didn't crash !

Eventually I got so fed up of watching the spinning beach ball that I thought
I'd try LibreOffice. BAD MOVE ! Two days of using it and two total crashes !
Failure rate of 100%.

I will probably just have to bite the bullet, kick your rubbish software into
the long grass and get my hands on MS Office, maybe (hopefully) that will
function without making a complete bollocks of my system !

No need to reply !
