I am seeing this in 3.6.0.4 after installation (with or without active x) when

A restart did not solve the problem. The REGSVR32 / u shlxthdl.dll workaround
did, however, work.

I'm not sure if this is the same or a related bug: I just downloaded and
installed LibreOffice 3.6 on Windows 7. Once the installation finished,
explorer.exe started crashing. I get
