I would like this too. I would like to have specific dictionaries attached to a
particular document. Useful for novelist who want to use dialect words in one
story but not in another.

No that's whole point: I need to turn it off only in specific documents.
I think this problem would be fairly common, and so this facility should be
provided.

If you set the language of the paragraph style as [None] (instead of English
while you use the English spellchecker), the spellchecker will ignore the
words.

I tried the none option for both paragraph and then for all text.
Only the squiggly red line stopped appearing under the foreign words.
But the auto-capitalization continues (which I do not want).

Just to explain the actual issue, typical Asian languages have more consonants
than English, so we have to represent some of these letters by using the
capital and small English letters.

Auto-caps is a different animal. See Capitalize first letter of every

Yes, but is it specific to each document, where each document remembers its own
setting?
I do not want to turn the feature on/off for each document.
