I tested an old installation on Win7: Libreoffice 3.6.4.3 Build ID: 2ef5aff
does NOT have the scrolling lags. Scrolling works very smooth with this
version.

This Bug makes LibreOffice unusable. Implementing scrolling is not so hard.
Somebody who knows the software architecture of LO should be able to fix it in

It is really annoying on files with a lot of pictures as it hang up
occasionally (especially on not so new computer systems)

This bug is a mess to resolve so yes it still exists. It likely will take
thousands of dollars worth of developers time to fix so it's not as high on the
