Priority: medium Bug ID: 61799 Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Summary: FILEOPEN: csv-parsing window is not brought to foreground on open Severity: normal Classification: Unclassified OS: Windows (All) Reporter: ch...@chriscurvey.com Hardware: Other Whiteboard: BSA Status: UNCONFIRMED Version: 3.6.5.2 release Component: Spreadsheet Product: LibreOffice Problem description: If I already have LOC open, and I go to open a file that needs some parsing (e.g. CSV or tab-delimited), the text import dialog is not brought to the foreground (until I click on the open sheet). This gives the impression that nothing has happened (because the text import dialog is hidden). Steps to reproduce: 1. Open something in LOC 2. Cover the LOC window with something else (web browser or something) 3. Using Windows explorer, double-click on a different CSV file. (alternatively, use the browser window to download a CSV file) Current behavior: The text import dialog comes up BEHIND the web browser window, and there is no signal that LOC is waiting for me to do something. Expected behavior: a) Bring the text import window to the absolute foreground when opening another CSV file, OR b) Flash the icon in the taskbar so that I know it is waiting for me to do something. Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 3.6.5.2 release -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
