            Bug ID: 89820
Summary: Cannot write letters with accent
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.2.7.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: doy...@gmail.com

When typing letters with accents libreoffice shows the letter without accent.

Letter with accentes here means: áéíóúàèìòùîüö and their capitals.

Other special characters like Ññç¿¡€ can be written without problems.

Other programs like chrome, openoffice, command-line, ... can write accents
properly.

I tried a lot of supposed solutions found on internet without success,
including deleting "~/.config/libreoffice" directory.

It happens with Writer and Calc (other not tested).

It happens on new and old files (files written when the accents worked), with
xls, doc, odt, and txt file types (other not tested).

With Openoffice 4.1.1 I can write properly letters with accent on the same
files.

Letter with accent already existing on the documents doesn't lose the accent on
re-opening.

It happens from three or more months ago. I can't relate the problem with none
particular update of anything (sorry).

It's about 6 month I'm using Kubuntu 14.04 64bits.
